FREQUENtLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What are dermal fillers?

Dermal fillers are a type of nonsurgical cosmetic procedure that involves injecting substances under your skin to plump up wrinkles, smooth lines, and restore volume in your cheeks and face. These injections can enhance facial features, create a more youthful appearance, and address issues such as sagging skin, asymmetrical facial features, and thin lips.
There are several types of dermal fillers. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring acid in your skin that gives it volume and keeps it hydrated by attracting water molecules to the site. Calcium hydroxyapatite is a biocompatible substance used to restore volume and stimulate collagen production. Poly-L-lactic acid is a substance that stimulates collagen production and gradually restores volume overtime. Polymethylmethacrylate is a synthetic substance suspended in collagen gel.

Do dermal fillers work?

Yes, dermal fillers do work! They are effective in adding volume to sagging skin, making facial features more symmetrical, plumping up lips and cheeks, and smoothing wrinkles and creases. The results are typically visible right away after the procedure. The duration of the results depends on the type of filler used and the location where it is injected. Generally, the effects of dermal fillers can last from several months to a few years. Hyaluronic acid fillers usually last between 6 to 12 months. Calcium hydroxyapatite fillers can last up to 12 months. Poly-L-lactic acid fillers stimulate collagen production and can last up to 2 years. Polymethylmethacrylate fillers provide long-lasting results, often lasting several years. Results are decreased in smokers.

How much do dermal fillers cost?

The cost of dermal fillers can vary widely depending on several factors, including the type of filler used and the treatment area. For our grand opening special, you can get filler for $650.00 – $850.00 per syringe. Perfect time to harmonize your face. Scan our QR code at checkin for the Allē surprise and it could be even less. What is the downtime after being treated with dermal fillers?

The downtime after getting dermal fillers is generally minimal. Most people can resume their normal activities within 4 hours after treatment. However, you might experience some minor side effects such as bruising, swelling, or redness at the injection sites. These effects typically fade within a day or two. It’s recommended to avoid intense physical activity for the first 24-48 hours to minimize swelling and bruising. Some people may experience more noticeable swelling or bruising, which can last for several days.
