IPL (Intense Pulsed Light)

Clear skin without the downtime.

Target & Brighten

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) therapy, also known as a photofacial, is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure that uses pulses of light to improve the color and texture of your skin without surgery. It can help undo visible damage caused by sun exposure, known as photoaging, and is commonly used on the face, neck, hands, or chest. IPL devices send out multiple wavelengths of pulsating light, allowing them to treat a range of skin conditions simultaneously.

FREQUENtLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Does IPL work?

IPL therapy is generally effective for improving the color and texture of your skin. It can help undo visible damage caused by sun exposure, known as photoaging, and is commonly used on the face, neck, hands, or chest. IPL therapy works by using light energy to target specific colors in your skin.
IPL therapy can help with a variety of skin conditions such as acne, birthmarks, stretch marks, liver or age spots, broken blood vessels, brown spots, dark spots from hormonal changes, discolored skin, fine wrinkles, freckles, redness from rosacea, scars, spider veins, and unwanted hair. IPL is gentler on the skin and usually requires more than one session to obtain the desired results.

How much does IPL cost?

The cost of one IPL is $400 per session for the face, hands, neck, or chest. A package of 3 is $1000.00.

What is the downtime with IPL?

IPL therapy generally has minimal downtime. Most people can return to their normal activities after the treatment. There might be some mild redness or swelling, similar to a sunburn, which usually subsides within a few hours to a day. The dark spots will become darker before the treated cells sluff.
